Japan Bank Directory is the first and only list in English of 1400+ commercial banks and their branches in Japan. It is a complete list including big and small names and never heard credit unions with one branch.
Here you will find the Swift code for international deposits and Zengin clearing code (bank code) needed for domestic bankwiring, mass transfer, Paypal transfer and Google Adsense payments.
By Location (Province, Branch Name)
Tokyo, Osaka and Kanagawa provinces, being the most accessed, come first. Others are in alphabetical order. The number to the right is number of bank branches in the province. Inside a province there is a list of branch names sorted alphabetically.
By Bank and Branch Name
Banks sorted by name and branch. Starting by choosing the first letter of bank name, bank name, first letter of branch name and then branch name. The number at the right is the number of branches under it.
